This Privacy Policy applies to your use of all of the Sites and services owned, hosted, or operated by Ignited Ideas, Inc.(collectively “we,” “us,” or “our”), including AHigherThought.comAHigherThoughtBlog.com, TheSpiritualMall.comIgnitedLivingGroup.com, IgniteYourDream.com, and any other site that we are affiliated with, have collaborated and partnered with, owned or operated, do own and operate or may own or operate in the future including blogs and social media sites (collectively, the “Sites”). Unless we say otherwise, all references to the Sites in this privacy policy include all such Sites.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and security and have explained in detail the steps we take to do so. We control this site from offices in the United States of America. We do not represent that materials on the site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Persons who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative, and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Outside Sites

The Site contains links to other websites, like our sponsors or affiliated sites, and other sites that may offer products or services that our customers might find useful. These sites may request information from you. In such instances, the collection and use of your personal information will be governed by the privacy policy applicable to that site. We do not control the privacy policies, contents or links that appear on these sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party sites or services before providing any of them with your personal information.

How and Why We Collect Information

We collect your information for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, to track your preferences, and to keep you informed about our new products and related events, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research, and anonymous reporting. When you create an account with AHigherThought, you are consenting to receive communication from AHigherThought and their Affiliated Partners.

If you wish to be removed from any email list, you may opt out using the provided link within the email. You may opt out of postal, phone, or other lists with a written request by email at CustomerCare@AHigherThought.com. Please provide us with your exact name, email address, mailing address, and phone. We will be sure your name is removed from the appropriate lists immediately.

IP addresses are automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page. Your IP address may be stored stored in Sites user registration databases when you register with us. IP addresses may be used for various research purposes.

As a visitor to our Sites, you can engage in many activities without providing any personal information. In connection with other activities, such as requesting an offer, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, we may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including ZIP code), e-mail address, telephone, credit card, and other personal information. We will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with non-affiliated parties except as specified in this Privacy Policy to provide products or services you have requested or when we or our Sites has your permission. It may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Use, as specified in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise required by law. In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. We will transfer information about you if we are acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, we will notify you by email or by putting a prominent notice on our Sites before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Children’s Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. The Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13 and we will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Miscellaneous

These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates to these terms will be subject to  in the State of South Carolina at our discretion. If any of these terms of use are found unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be considered severable from the remaining terms of use, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. These terms may be modified only by our posting of changes to these terms of use on our Sites.
